The Michigan Society of Herpetologists are knowledgable exotics people!

The Michigan Society of Herpetologists is a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to conservation and care of reptiles and amphibians — both in the wild and as pets. They believe in “education through interaction”. It is more effective and creates a deeper understanding than simply seeing them in a zoo or a video on your phone.
